Junior Baseball & Hockey, 1950

In 1950 a Meyer Junior Baseball Team was organized for the first time. They have selected Lorenz Klapperich as Manager. |
The Junior Team consists of: catcher - Leonard Kraemer, pitcher - Pete Schaefer, 1st base - Joseph 'Junior' Niess, 2nd base - Ray 'Buzzy' Schaefer, 3rd base - Marvin Koenigs, shortstop - Gilbert Koenigs, right field - Henry Koenigs, center field - Leon Blake, left field - Bobby Schaefer, subs - Quentin Kraemer and Delphin Mueller.
| The Meyer Hockey Team was organized by Father G. J. Schmitz. The team plays the hockey games with Adams and Stacyville, and Austin, Minnesota. |

The hockey team consists of the following on the first string team: Fred Kraemer, John Brumm, Junior Niess, Henry Koenigs, Irvin Hemann, Marvin Koenigs, Bob Michels and Joe Wolf.
Peter Hemann, Paul and Billy Kasel, Quentin Kraemer, Leonard Kraemer, Edw. Wolf comprise the second string team. All hockey games are played on Sunday afternoon and during the rest of the week games are played in the evening.
