Luke is the author of the third Gospel, written before the year sixty-three. In his Gospel he speaks of the priesthood of Christ. He also speaks about the wonderful works of God in beginning His Church. He is the Patron of Painters and Physicians. Donated by Mrs. J. Koenigs. The Seventh Window on the west side of the confessional pictures St. Matthew. He wrote the Gospel to convince the Jews that the Messias had come in the Person of Jesus Christ.
